Internship Visa

The Internship Visa is referred to foreign nationals who intend to undertake an internship at an Indonesian company. Company internship is issued for a person who conducts an internship in Indonesia to develop skill and talent at the company, office or workplace.

The Consular Affairs is authorized to issue a stay up to 180 days and this type of visa can be extended. As this type of Visa is a Single Entry, you can not leave and enter Indonesia with the same Visa.

Foreigners can use this VISA for:

  1. Carry out activities related to internship to develop skill and talent at the company, office, or workplace.
  2. Conducting activities related to tourism, and visiting friends or family.

Internship Visa has become an option for foreigners who plan to stay in Indonesia for internship purposes. However, there are several things you cannot do with this visa, namely earning income. Later, if you intend to work in the Indonesian company and earn income, the Immigration issues a special visa for those of you who plan to work in Indonesia, which is called a Working KITAS.
